RECLAIM
Spend eleven embodied weeks exploring grounding, somatic, & nervous system regulating practices live with Mira & a group of your fellow grievers.
Each session will include both discussion & movement elements:
- We will check-in with one another around a common theme & have the opportunity to share how our grief is coming up that week
- We will learn some of the theory behind somatic work and why it helps decrease tension & stress, and lowers trigger activation after traumatic loss
- For the bulk of each session, Mira will teach and guide the group through grief-specific somatic exercises, gentle movements, and meditations that signal safety to the body
- We will have the opportunity to discuss the impact that this work is having on our grief and on our life as we go
Over the course of the eleven weeks you will learn:
- Daily practices that will begin to regulate your nervous system & strengthen your vagus nerve
- Ways to build self-compassion and self-love through tending to your body
- How to work within and gently widen your window of tolerance
- Qigong, yoga, & breathwork techniques that are especially supportive in grief
What you will get:
- RECLAIM will run for eleven weeks and include:
- Eight live sessions with Mira (recorded if you can't make it live)
- One bonus somatic theory & gentle movement workshop with our guest facilitator
- Two weeks off for integration with pre-recorded practice videos provided
- Additional pre-recorded somatic practice videos and grief-specific meditations as well as accompanying handouts and worksheets (no expiry)
- A private chat group where we can connect in-between sessions as we go
Please note that I do not typically provide refunds, except under very special circumstances. I spend a significant amount of time and energy carefully going through the intake process and creating supportive resources & an energetic space of care for all of you.
I See You, Sister is open to widows of any age, both with and without kids. Every cohort is different, but typically we have widows of all different ages, with the majority tending to be in their 30s and 40s with kids. Before registering, please ensure that you are comfortable with this. I find that there is so much magic in holding space for one another in our grief, both the similarities and differences. Every widow is welcome.
RECLAIM is open to grievers of any type of loss (with the majority tending to be widows).
